FREWSBURG - Patricia Ann Jones, 69, of 919 Ivory Road, died Thursday (Jan.13, 2011), at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
She was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Olean, the daughter of Arthur and Mildred Manginell Hay.
She grew up in Emporium, Pa., and was a graduate of Cameron County High School in 1960. She had been employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for True Value in Randolph, and Beaver Dairy.
Pat was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Frewsburg, Secret Sisters, Alter and Rosary Society, choir member, and social club. She was an avid gardner and loved and enjoyed her flowers.
Besides her husband, William G. Jones, whom she married (Oct. 19, 1963) in Emporium, Pa., Pat is survived by two children: Kim (Scott) Pollock of Lewiston, Maine, and Scott Jones of Frewsburg; two grandchildren: Joshua and Heather Pollock of Lewiston, Maine; a brother, Tom Hay of Brooksville, Fla.; and a sister, Mary (Sarge) Dynda of Bradford, Pa.; three nieces: Deb, Robin and Tammy; and three nephew: Ed, Gary and Ronny.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Frewsburg by the Rev. Darrell Duffy and Deacon Michael Lennon of Saint James and Our Lady of Victory churches. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Jamestown.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, Frewsburg, where the Altar and Rosery Society will conduct a service at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Christian wake service at 2 p.m.
