Matthew “Andy” Rodich, 61, of Woodland Avenue, Emporium died Monday, November 13, 2017, in his home. Born July 3, 1956 in St. Marys, he was the son of Matthew A. and Helen Schultz Rodich. A lifelong resident of Emporium, he was a 1974 graduate of Cameron County High School. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium and was employed by GKN in Emporium, formerly Pennsylvania Pressed Metals, for 40 years.
Survivors include: a brother, Michael A. (Michele) Rodich of Emporium; a sister, Margaret (Steve) Gantt of Lexington, SC; a nephew, Matthew Rodich of Emporium; and nieces, Mallory (Lewis) Young of Masontown, West Virginia, and Christina Gantt of Lexington, SC.
The family will receive friends in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 from 11 a.m. until Noon at which time Funeral Services will follow with Fr. Paul Siebert, pastor of St. Mark Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark Cemetery, Emporium. years.
