James "Mouse" Heary

James "Mouse" Heary, Sr., 72, of 516 Chestnut Street, St. Marys, PA died unexpectedly at Shadyside-UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA on Sunday (September 13, 2015) morning.

He was born April 15, 1943 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Arthur and Clara Arnold Heary. On September 13, 1975 in St. Marys he married Helen Krug Heary, who survives.

Jim was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central High School, class of 1961. He was a co-owner and operator of Art Heary & Sons Furniture, where he was active in the business with sales and flooring until his retirement in December of 2013. He enjoyed fishing going to camp and also enjoyed many sporting events Jim will be remembered for his dedication to the community and for always being willing to help others. He was currently an active member of the St. Marys Rotary Club for more than 38 years and had served as a past president and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. He was very active with and served on the board of Project Gifts for Elk County. He was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church where he had served as an usher for many years.

 Son: John Heary, Williamstown, NJ
 5 Grandchildren: Marissa, Ryan, Sarah, Clara & Dominic
 Sister: Mary Jo Heary, St. Marys

Preceded in Death By Parents: Arthur and Clara Arnold Heary, Sr. 
Brother: Arthur Heary, Jr.
 Brother: George "Chicken" Heary

Visitation will be at the Lynch Green Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Marys Catholic Church Church Street, St. Marys, PA on Thursday (September 17, 2015) at 12:00 PM with Rev. Alfred Patterson, O.S.B., as Celebrant. 
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, St. Marys, PA
