Bruce H. Brown

Bruce H. Brown, 53, of 5398 Sizerville Rd., Emporium, PA died at UPMC-Presbyterian Pittsburgh, PA Monday, August 11, 2014 morning. He was born September 2, 1960 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Claude H. and Carolyn R. Crawford Brown. On September 8, 1984 in St. Mark Catholic Church he married Lisa Catalone Brown, who survives. 

Bruce graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1978. He had worked many years at GKN in Emporium. Bruce was currently serving, as he had for over 20 years, as Portage Township Supervisor. He was also currently serving on the board of directors for the Cameron County Ambulance Service and also the Turkey Track Hunting Club. Bruce was an avid hat collector and enjoyed hunting, camping and riding four wheelers.

 Brother: Joseph Brown

 A Memorial Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Friday (August 15, 2014) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00-10:45 AM. Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau, PA
