Retail and Restaurants in Emporium Form

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce coordinating an adhoc committee of
business owners in the community. “This will put all the retail and restaurant
owners in one room to discuss issues, share solutions and learn what products
are available,” explains chamber executive director, Tina Johns Solak. “The issues facing our local owners in retail
differ from those in industry. This
committee has been requested by the owners.”
The first meeting is set for Wednesday May 7 at 6pm and will highlight
a planned scavenger hunt for families at the Cameron County Family Center. Future topics will include funding for facade improvements, hospitality training and other topics requested by the
group.
