Reservations Accepted for Christmas in the Wild
Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center gearing
up for Christmas in the Wilds Friday and
Saturday December 13 & 14. The
weekend begins with the Holiday House Tour benefitting the Cameron County
Fireworks. The chamber office is now taking
suggestions for homes to tour. Contact
the chamber office at 814-486-4314.
Saturday the day dawns with breakfast with Santa at the Emporium
Volunteer Fire Department benefitting the Auxiliary. Vendors will be set up along the streets
selling ready to give gifts and warm items to eat! Vendors are reminded that they must register
with the chamber office to prevent duplication of items and can call anytime to
reserve a spot. “Several organizations
have already selected food items and are assigned locations,” according to the
Tina Johns Solak, executive director of the chamber. The fee is $10.00 per spot.
Any organization wishing to host an event in
conjunction with Christmas with the Wilds is asked to contact the chamber, so
both events can be advertised simultaneously.
