Wilfred R. "Dewey" Cheatle

Wilfred R. "Dewey" Cheatle, 93, of 903 Rich Valley Rd., Emporium died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Mary on Monday (March 11, 2013) afternoon.
He was born November 26, 1919 in St. Marys a son of the late Edward and Lillie Davis Cheatle.
On October 6, 1967 in he married Theresa Raffaele Cheatle, who survives.
Mr. Cheatle attended school in St. Marys. He retired from Sylvania in Emporium where he worked for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking, making rosaries, crosses and gardening.

In addition to his wife Theresa Raffaele Cheatle
Step-daughter: Cecelia, Mrs. Larry Semancik, DuBois
Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren
Brother: Harold Cheatle, St. Marys
Several: Nieces and nephews
Preceded in Death By
Parents: Edward and Lillie Davis Cheatle
Son: Gregory Cheatle
3 Brothers: Edward, Charles and Walter Cheatle
Sister: Betty Dietz
 
There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Thursday (March 21, 2013) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
 
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 E. 4th Street, Emporium, PA 15834
