Richard G. "Dickie Bird" Lininger

Richard G. "Dickie Bird" Lininger, 81, of 7113 Jerry Run Rd., Sinnemahoning
died at his residence Saturday (September 8, 2012) evening.
He was born May 17, 1931 in Austin, PA a son of the late George and Alvina Kornacki Lininger. In 1967 in McKeesport he married Johanna Anderson Lininger, who Survives.
Mr. Lininger retired from Cameron Manufacturing where he worked for many years. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin and Sinnemahoning Fire Department where he served as fire police for many years. He was a member of the Bucktail Bowling League for many years. Hius hobbies include dancing, roller skating and bowling. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Many nieces and nephews including nieces: Patty (Bill) Solomon, Austin & Jane (Al) Nogueira, Tonawanda, NY
Preceded in death by
Parents: George and Alvina Kornacki Lininger
Sister: Marie Williams
There will be No Visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Friday (September 14, 2012) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Sinnemahoning Fire & Ambulance, P.O. Box 74, Sinnemahoning, PA 15861!
