Gary L Crosby


Gary L. Crosby, 69, of 11453 Rt. 120, Emporium, died at his residence on Monday (July 16, 2012) night surrounded by his family.
He was born September 30, 1942 in St. Marys  a son of Lillian Nordberg Crosby, Emporium and the late Ivan Crosby.
On December 19, 1970 in Emporium he married Linda Taylor Crosby, who Survives.
Mr. Crosby graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1961. He served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He owned and operated Crosby Contracting for many years. He was a member of the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge #368, Emporium, the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221 VFW, the Sinnamahoning and May Hollow Sportsmans Clubs. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, hunting and camping in his RV.

Sister: Delores, Mrs. William Burlingame, Truman

Father: Ivan Crosby
3 Brothers: Paul, Harlow and Allan Crosby

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Friday (July 20, 2012) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joseph Short, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Nurses Inc., HOSPICE, 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857 or to the Cameron County Ambulance Service, 299 E. Second St., Emporium, PA 15834
