Traffic Mishap on 4th Street

This afternoon a minor traffic accident occurred in 4th street across from the Radio Shack.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and neither was injured Monday at 2:30 pm when their vehicles were involved in a crash at 4th Street at Cherry Street in Emporium Boro.


Timothy Reynolds of Emporium, PA was driving a 2004 Suzuki Sidekick and was stopped in a line of traffic.
Clifford Akins, Emporium, PA, driving a 1990 Dodge truck, impacted the rear of Reynolds' vehicle.

The Suzuki was driven from the scene. The truck suffered disabling damage.
Charges are pending against Akins.
