An Emporium driver was unhurt last Saturday at 10:15 am when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a culvert on Dutch Hill Road in Elualia Township.
Christopher J. Stuart, 20, of Emporium, PA, was driving a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim LE northbound on Dutch Hill Road. While negotiating a right curve in the roadway, Stuart lost control of the vehicle and traveled through the opposing lane of travel, off the roadway and struck a culvert on the western roadway edge.
Stuart was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for (Not) Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed. His vehicle was disabled.
Coudersport fire Dept. provided traffic control at the scene.
